More information at: ETM TESTMAGAZIN, issue 3/2008 Every housewife’s dream? Sadly without the cleaner this remains a far-fetched dream. However, some people are trying to make some aspects of this dream a reality and a few companies have introduced the first cleaning aids: small robot vacuums, which scurry across the floor, should help make daily chores easier. But are these robots really a time-saving addition to your household or are they still not quite ready to meet the demands of daily life? And what can these little monsters actually do? In test: Three robot vacuums were reviewed with one being rated “very good” and two “good”. Among the test criteria were suction (carpets, hard flooring, edges), movement (surface coverage, transport to charging station ...) and handling.
