Like them or not, speakers in mobile phones and MP3 players are all the rage these days, with countless unruly youths on just about every form of public transport going bopping away to the latest slammin' tunes using their preferred portable media playing device. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but the fundamental point remains, far too many of these devices now sport built-in speakers and they all share one universal constant: the quality is awful.
It is for that reason, then, that devices such as the Supertooth Disco exist.

Acoustic Energy has done a great job of reinventing itself from being a maker of high-quality-but-traditional speakers to offering products taking account of how many people listen today. The Aego range has everything from compact surround sound to iPods covered, its wi-fi internet radio allows you to listen to a huge range of streaming stations from around the world, and now there's this Bluetooth stereo speaker system. It's designed for use with suitable mobile phones and computers with Bluetooth A2DP capability.
