Although packed with all the features, the noise of HDD spinning even on standby makes it unbearable. The casing looks pleasing but the buttons are very tacky.

Under the microscope, the Thomson Top Up TV Anytime Box was able to obtain its best score of 5 out of 5 stars in the 7/2007 issue of Computer Shopper magazine. The Test Labs of RegHardware online magazine saw fit to give it a score of 70% (review in issue 7/2007).
