The Seagate FreeAgent Go (160 GB) external hard drive received a somewhat middling verdict, only managing 3 out of 5 stars in issue (9/2007) of Computer Shopper.
The external hard drive was reviewed by 5 magazines with special attention paid to performance, and came away with mostly good reviews.
Its highest score of "very good" (5 out of 6 stars) came from PC Pro magazine which tested the Seagate FreeAgent Go (160 GB) in their 4/2008 issue. The product received its worst result from Computer Shopper magazine (issue 9/2007) with a score of 3 out of 5 stars.
