The music phone was put through its paces in the test labs of 5 magazines and, all in all, was fairly well received.
Its highest score of "Very Good" (7,5 out of 10 points) came from CNET.co.uk online magazine which tested the Samsung SGH-D830 in their 11/2006 issue. The Test Labs of What Mobile magazine saw fit to give it a score of 3 out of 5 stars (review in issue 2/2007).
