The 14'' laptop was reviewed by 7 magazines with special attention paid to performance, convincing the majority of its quality.
The Samsung R20 scored highest in TrustedReviews online magazine (3/2007) with an overall rating of 9 out of 10 points. The Test Labs of Windows XP Made Easy magazine saw fit to give it a score of 6 out of 10 points (review in issue 115).
