The Samsung set acquits itself well against the competition, matching typically stylish design with sharp and detailed pictures no matter what the source; What Hi-Fi? magazine even praised its Freeview performance, no mean feat given that the format is notorious for its low quality broadcasts. Black levels left the magazine with a little to desire, but all in all, it was a thumbs up for the Samsung telly.
