Issue 5/2008 7 products on test	"very good" (4 out of 5 stars) As the cheapest player on test by far, the Samsung started with a lot going for it, unfortunately its performance didn't quite match up with its impressive price point. Black levels didn't impress What Hi-Fi?'s review staff and they experienced a juddering to motion that was present even when using the deck's 24fps mode. Still, at the price it is offered, the magazine recommend it is worth a punt to dip your toe into HD waters.
