"Group Test Winner"
When the only serious criticism What Hi-Fi? magazine can make of the Pioneer set is that the price hasn't come down far enough since its release, you know you are talking about a great TV. With both HD and SD the Kuro PDP-LX608D impressed, with excellent detail and the deep black levels typical of plasma televisions. There are no built in speakers but the magazine and most probably the manufacturer would be surprised if this set wasn't to be paired up with a home cinema receiver and speaker set, making this criticism also rather moot.
