Despite not being a Full HD set, the Panasonic plasma leverages the technology's inherent stability, excellent tonal balance and deep, deep blacks to full effect, effortlessly oozing class all the way. What Hi-Fi? magazine found it lost out a little in terms of detail against some of the Full HD LCDs on test but whether or not would be a problem is a matter of taste.

The TH-37PX80 has stunning performance, good connections and is easy to use. AVReview felt that the minor colour problems could be overlooked because of the overall excellence of the TH-37PX80
