Despite being primarily a business phone, the E61i features enough in the way of multimedia features to make it a great all-rounder. PDA Essentials magazine found its performance to be fast enough for most tasks and its battery also impressive. All in all their verdict on the Nokia was a good one, just warning that some users may find the device a little heavy for prolonged typing sessions.

"Nokia's E61i offers better build quality, a digital camera and a slimmer profile than its predecessor, the E61. Current users of the E61, however, may not be convinced that such tweaks are worth the upgrade."
