Issue 3/2009 Position 4/4 in test |
The poorest performing of digital media players tested, Linksys' DMA2200 is only appropriate if you use Windows Media Center, as it runs off this. While being affordable and managing its media reasonably, the lack of features and versatility make this an option no one really needs to consider.

The DVD player was put through its paces in the test labs of 5 magazines but its overall score of C betrayed its decidedly average performance.
Under the microscope, the Linksys DMA2200 was able to obtain its best score of "excellent" (8 out of 10 points) in the 3/2008 issue of CNET.co.uk online magazine. What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision magazine gave the product a score of "below par" (2 out of 5 stars) in issue 3/2009, which was the lowest score it received.
The Linksys DMA2200 was also able to walk away with the "Recommended" (Personal Computer World 2/2008) prize.
