Value for money: 3 out of 5 stars
Despite featuring a useful pivoting screen stand, the w2408h didn't impress in terms of image quality and the glossy finish to the screen didn't help things either. Digital Photo appreciated the inclusion of an HDMI lead in the box, but without a DVI port or DVI-HDMI adaptor, users will be stuck with VGA as the only viable connection method.

Pocket Lint liked the w2409h as a monitor. Its vivid picture and impressive size make the w2409h a great all round performer. The only word of warning concerns the speakers which don't match the high end quality of the rest of the monitor.

"... It may not break any records in the picture quality stakes but the image quality is still decent, and unless you're a specialist user, for the price, this large, high resolution display is simply a great buy."
