The ES20 works pleasingly, it is easy to use and versatile. Computer Active warns that it takes a little work to get the best quality prints out of it though.

"Mac User found print quality from this dye-sublimation printer to be generally very good while value for money compared well to inkjet printers offering a cost per print found to be only 15.5 pence. Being a Mac magazine they did however grumble about the lack of Leopard drivers, but according to Canon these should already be available."

"This is a very neat and functional standalone photo printer, where you don't need to carry a separate pack of paper, but you will need the optional battery pack and charger if you intend to use it away from the mains. ..."
