An amp that has received much admiration paired with a Blu-ray player that is not so favoured, Yamaha's combination of BD-S2900 player and RX-V3900 amp is somewhat disappointing. Sleek design and expansive audio, it is the lack of sharp and refined image in the player that lets this combination down. With only this one Blu-ray player in their product line-up, this isn't the best system to look at.
