This agile entertainer performs well with both films and music, producing powerful and solid bass, and yet a truly open and transparent sound with fantastic detail being extracted. Playing music through Sony STR-DA2400ES is also a natural, involving and very entertaining experience.

While myriad other factors come into play with other AV devices, when it comes to a multi-channel amp the specs are all that matters. Sony's STR-DA2400ES AV receiver is in no way disappointing in this regard, with superb audio reproduction.
