While every TV is waving its green and eco credentials of late, plenty of scepticism ensues with the mediocre energy savings most come up with. Sony's KDL-40WE5 is an exception, giving both noticeable savings and not stinting on the quality of images.

Sony has managed the feat of what is too often advertising gimmickry and made the new Bravia KDL-40WE5W 40" LCD TV both highly economical to run and provided improvements to image quality. This though comes at a price.
