If you were waiting for a decent Android QWERTY handset to come along, then your wait might just be over. It's a slightly slower performer than other phones in its price range, but overall it's perfectly adequate and the keyboard is simply one of the best that Coolsmartphone have ever tested. Battery life is very good and Sony's UI overlay is actually quite decent and unobtrusive. |

Smartphone Daily say the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro is the best option at the moment for anyone that needs a good keyboard, and even if the phone itself doesn't really offer anything new, it offers a decent enough package. Writing business emails or typing documents on it proved its worth, but the keyboard will be unnecessary for casual users, making this a niche product. |

The Xperia Pro made a fantastic first impression on IT Pro, who said that this was the first Android phone aimed squarely at business users. The keyboard is decent, with a very well designed slide-out mechanism, and the screen is sharp and bright. Also, they thought that Sony Ericsson's Timescape interface offered some interesting extra functionality. |

Know your mobile are happy with the design of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro smartphone, the keys on the qwerty keyboard are well spaced and it slides out smoothly from the main phone. It has a large screen with Bravia technology so it's strong and bright. This will most likely suit those searching out the gingerbread Android OS on a qwerty phone. |

CNet found that while time is needed to see if the Xperia Pro-Slide's keyboard proves comfortable, it may be the first Android smart phone capable of giving the BlackBerry some serious competition when it comes to productivity potential. While a bit on the bulky side, this mobile features a pull-out QWERTY keyboard for fast typing, powerful Android OS, and 8-megapixel camera. |

“The Xperia Neo is also available in the Pro model. The mobile office tool comes with an impressive, well-designed typewriter-style keyboard.” |
