"... The Sony Ericsson T715 is straightforward and easy enough to use ... The phone doesn't suffer from any lag or slowdown, and there is no keystroke lag when text messaging ... The Sony Ericsson T715 mobile phone represents decent value, but it is let down by questionable build quality and the lack of a standard headphone jack."

"... Its feature rundown is solid rather than exciting, but although it may be short of high-end feature fireworks, it offers a reliable, if low-key, package of features that are generally straightforward to use. ... If you're after an understated but classy handset that may not be geared up with the very latest high-end gadgetry but which does the job, the Sony Ericsson T715 could be worth looking at. It's a reasonably priced low-key handset that puts in a decent performance and is straightforward to operate. It may not turn heads, but it delivers a solid user experience in an attractive, compact package."

"... The running applications tab is particularly useful, as despite its small stature there's actually plenty going on under the T715's bonnet, many of which can be run in tandem. ... The Sony Ericsson T715 is excellent value for money and is sure to be popular with the younger generation. It's top-notch for social networking, with Windows Live Messenger and Skype also on board and though the screen is small, the phone itself bodes well as a back to basics model."

"... Next to many of Sony Ericsson's other budget phones, the T715's screen is great, with excellent viewing angles and overall clarity. ... Although it doesn't shout about it, Google Maps, Facebook, Weather and YouTube apps are installed as standard – they’re nestled within the phone's menus. So, considering this is essentially a budget phone, it's not at all bad in connected terms. Once again, the T715's best features aren't loud or brash ones. ... Get the T715 on a cheap, Mobile Internet-friendly tariff and you've got a cheap, capable connected phone that doesn't look too bad. Just don't expect too much from the camera."

"... Yes, it's got 3G, the god-like Google Maps and a fine 3.2MP camera, but when was the last time you saw a Sony Ericsson phone that didn't? ... Sony Ericsson's cultivated a loyal following over the years with its pleasantly specced out and feature filled dumbphones, but as cheap smartphones like the HTC Tattoo start to gatecrash shop shelves, blowers like the Sony Ericsson T715 feel like a step back. If your ageing Sony Ericsson's worn around the edges, the Sony Ericsson T715 is ideal. If you want something hotter, then you're best looking elsewhere. ... Comfortable, familiar, but nothing new: old slippers in slider form."
