Although What Hi-Fi? magazine found the Sharp system to deliver fine pictures, it was with the sound quality that the system fell down. The magazine's reviewers warned that the speakers and subwoofer didn't mesh into a coherent whole, leaving dialogue in the cold during louder scenes.

It gets full marks for design but all the good work is undone by the poor picture quality. TrustedReviews.com suggests that it is a good product for those who want to impress their friends and family when they come around to the house. Just make sure you don't turn it on for them.
