If you can afford their heavy price tag then you will not be disappointed with Sennheiser's IE 80 in-ear headphones. T3 rated the sound quality of these little guys as fantastic and it can even be tailored to your needs with the bass tweaking option. They feel good and are quite tough, although there is a case included too. The long cable is replaceable should the worst happen. |

8 out of 10 points
Value for money: 8 out of 10 points, "Recommended" The Sennheiser IE80 earphones have a strange, angular look but produce high quality sound. As an upgrade from the IE8i, only a few minor changes have been made, for example there is no handsfree capability. Sound clarity is slighty improved and the amazing bass can be controlled using dials. Trusted Reviews recommends them for an audiophile who doesn't already own the IE8i. |

4.5 out of 5 stars
"Hot Product" Pocket-lint warn that you need 3 or 4 hours of using the Sennheiser IE80 earphones to allow them to burn in properly. Lots of useful accessories are included, with even a mini-screwdriver so you can tune the bass levels to each musical genre. The sound quality justifies the high price tag, so the IE80's are a perfect option for audiophiles. |

High-end earbuds let you dial-in bass to taste What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision 2/2012 - The last thing you'd expect to take to a pair of headphones is a screwdriver, but Sennheiser actively encourages you to tinker with its iE80 in-ears. Within each housing is a small screw: turn it clockwise to dial in more bass, or the other way for a more neutral sound. ...
