With a well-built metallic body and a bright Super AMOLED screen that's one of the best phone touchscreens around, What Mobile say Samsung's Wave 3 has got it covered in the hardware department. However, software is important too, and although the bada OS works a lot like Android, icons aren't as easy to arrange, and it can't compete on apps. The Social Hub is excellent though. |

Hardwarewise, reviewers at Electric Pig say that the Samsung Wave 3 has a lot going for it. It still sports the same smooth design as its predecessor, but boasts a faster 1.4GHz processor and a Super AMOLED Plus screen. It's even lighter than before and has a roomier four-inch display. However, the fact that it still runs Bada just doesn't strike reviewers as much of a selling point. |

While the Wave 3 is certainly eye-catching with its brilliant Super AMOLED display and generous assortment of smartphone features, CNet feels that it might be hindered by its Bada software. It just makes it seem too much like Android, which leaves reviewers wondering why anyone would consider switching their operating systems then. |
