Issue 9/2009 Single test |
Beautifully slim with a long list of specs, Samsung's UE46B8000 offers evenly balanced pictures from all sources, but requires careful set up to look its best, e.g. 200Hz motion processing must be set to 'clear' to avoid unnatural appearance. Unfortunately sound is weaker than on many flatscreens.

Design quality and aesthetics are superb in Samung's UE46B8000 46" LCD TV, and for features, performance and media playback little is to fault. Response time for high contrast changes is a little slow though, and in dark scenes blacks show some unevenness.
