The Samsung BD-DT7800 is a truly impressive device that's packed with features. Its design is sleek and its picture is high-quality. With integrated Wi-Fi, the model has internet access at all times and its vast networking capabilities mean it can stream a variety of file formats. Tech Radar were disappointed that it can only record one channel at a time. |

9 out of 10 points
Value for money: 9 out of 10 points, "Recommended" While the BD-DT7800 is not particularly better at plain Freeview recording than most of its rivals, it's the extras that make it such an alluring proposition in TrustedReview's eyes, with DLNA support, 3D conversion, Samsung's Smart Hub and its media streaming capabilities over USB putting it in a whole league of its own. It might be pricey, but it's superb value for money. |

Samsung BD-DT7800 TrustedReviews 8/2011 - The BD-DT7800 has a trick up its sleeve most other Freeview PVRs lack: it can stream and record content from the Internet or other networked devices. But this functionality comes at a price.
