Futuristic microsystem avguide.ch 7/2010 - At first sight the Philips MCD900 is a component system which really does stand out from the crowd, in terms of its appearance and scaling of individual components. Instead of the typical 42 centimetre components, the MCD900 has small, futuristic, rounded components. However, despite the initial joy at having a Philips component system, appearances can be deceiving. Both components - DVD and amplifier - can only be connected with each other using a special port cable and, as these are the only ‘components’, it seems clear to me that this component Hi-Fi is actually a micro system. The following report will tell you what this system can do.
