As the largest and most expensive set on test, the Panasonic had a lot to prove and, for the most part, it has done just this. The larger size allows for decent speakers to be built in and the set works well with Blu-ray high definition discs and even DVDs. With other standard definition content such as Freeview things are a little less impressive, but for the size, What Hi-Fi? magazine had to admit that its performance here was no worse than other sets offer.
