Issue 6/2008 Single test |
Although only HD Ready, the Panasonic preforms convincingly for the price with What Hi-Fi? magazine especially mentioning the set's Blu-ray performance where its 24fps mode also comes into play. All in all, for the price, the only faults the magazine can find lie with the built-in speakers, and even these are no worse than the competition and all but redundant when the set takes its rightful place in a home cinema set-up.

Despite its lack of a Full HD resolution, the TH-42PX80 delivers surprisingly good picture quality. AVReview were pleased to see a healthy feature count at a great price. The only problem is the HDMI input can't handle Deep Colour.
