Value for money: 8 out of 10 points The HX-WA10 from Panasonic proves the upright camcorder format has some benefits over the pocket internet alternatives, such as an optical zoom and superior still images. Trusted Reviews liked the good selection of manual settings, though they say accessing them can be tricky using the D-pad. Images are excellent quality, even in low light, which makes this a good choice. |

3.5 out of 5 stars
Despite some awkward control placement, CNET still found Panasonic's HX-WA10 brilliantly easy to use thanks to its simple buttons and menus, and they liked the snazzy design. Image quality wasn't great, and there aren't many creative options to choose from, but waterproof and reasonably priced, it's a pretty good choice of casual camcorder for use in all weather. |

4 out of 5 stars
Panasonic's HX-WA10 really impressed TechRadar with its waterproof capabilities; waterproofing was reliable, and the quality of footage taken under water was excellent. It's easy to use, but with stabilisation being a bit wobbly, and the handgrip being a bit on the small side, they'd suggest buying a tripod to go with it. Overall, they say it's worth the waterproof premium. |

Panasonic HX-WA10 CNET.co.uk 8/2011 - It boasts not one but two of the latest must-have design features, but is Panasonic's pistol-grip, waterproof HX-WA10 worth paying £200 for?
