Image quality in Panasonic's DVD-LS84 portable player is dismaying. Low resolution leads to jaggy playback, and colour balance is weak with a magenta cast and unnatural tone. Blacks are strong though, and while media support is vast and battery life long, similar devices from LG and Toshiba are better.
