Panasonic DMR-BS880 Review

The Panasonic DMR-BS880 offers the option to save your programmes onto disc by including a Blu-ray recorder as part of this decent PVR. T3 were impressed with the construction quality, but say it feels a bit expensive considering the limited HD content, slow operation and problematic EPG.

By offering an awe-inspiring amount of Blu-ray and Freesat features along with perfect picture quality and an incredible-looking OS, the DMR-BS880 commands respect, just as its honoured predecessor did. Trusted Reviews had some problems with networking and software updates, which slightly ruined the experience, but this could have been down to the test sample. Everything else about the BS880 makes it a great machine except that compared to Freeview, Freesat offers very few hi-def channels, and it's expensive.
