Trusted Reviews' first look at this device found that it's nicely designed and holds a lot of promise; however, its long-term value is questionable, as no one knows what the future holds for this type of product. One thing was certain, and that was that pairing a device such as this with a high quality TV, is a much better decision than purchasing a TV for its smart features. |

TechRadar felt that this device has loads of potential, yet still plenty of kinks that need working out. They were impressed that it brings the fun of the web into the comfort of the living room, and boasts nice features like a QWERTY keyboard, and full HTML5 and Flash support; however, frustrations with its set-up and user interface, along with a few other flaws hold it back. |

MacWorld likes the fact that this device brings the possibilities of IPTV video to your TV. Nice features also include Flash capability, Google Queue integration, and that BBC iPlayer and all other UK services work. They were disappointed to find however, that DVR isn't integrated with the UK yet, that the remote is basically a keyboard, and its operation is overly-complicated. |

Digital Trends were happy that the Logitech Revue with Google TV provides a Full-Flash-enabled Web browser on your television, and it successfully brings together cable, web and network content. The QWERTY keyboard and touchpad are handy. Some bigger sources of content are omitted in a 'Universal' search and they think the device depends too much upon the touchpad interface. |

PC Advisor found a lot to like in the Logitech Revue, but said it will not work as a replacement for existing cable TV, mainly because it cannot play TV-network content online. The search mechanism is also confusing. This means it battles to be worth the asking price. The keyboard is great though, as is being able to surf the internet on a TV and stream media from your network. |

The Revue / Google TV is an incredibly versatile system that integrates web searching and surfing, webcam chatting, watching TV and music streaming all in the same platform. Pocket-lint loved the concept and prophetised that in a future not too far away this is what entertainment systems will look like. |
