8 out of 10 points
Value for money: 8 out of 10 points In Trusted Reviews opinion the BD570 is a great, modern looking Blu-ray player with support for many formats and a long list of features. The picture quality is extremely sharp too. It's a pity that the incredible looking menu is sluggish to react and NetCast's online content cannot compete with that of its closest rival, the Sony BDP-S570. This unfortunately makes the Sony a better buy, as it is also 3D compatible and sells for a similar price. |

“very good” (84 out of 100 points)
“The new BD 570 from LG is cheaper, but not better than its predecessor model: It plays less file formats over the network and shows blurry photos. Overall, it scores points as a first-class Blu-ray player, as a wireless net worker, and with proficient USB functions.” |

LG BD570 TrustedReviews 7/2010 - Built-in Internet applications can now be found on a growing number of Blu-ray players from the likes of Sony, Panasonic and Samsung, but it was LG that set the ball rolling in early 2009. The BD370 was the first player to use its Ethernet connection for something other than BD Live downloads or software upgrades, allowing you to stream videos from YouTube.
