9 out of 10 points
Value for money: 8 out of 10 points The HTC Titan's 4.7in screen is impressively bright and boasts unlimited viewing angles, but Smartphone Daily say that if you're not blessed with very long thumbs, it's a two-handed device. Elsewhere though, they found it fantastic; the camera is great, the UI is quick and refreshing, and although it might feel like just another Windows Phone in some places, it is a great one. |

Despite the Titan being a superb smartphone in all respects, it can't compete with the Sensation XL when it comes to computing power, mainly because of its stingy 512MB RAM. Know Your Mobile also favoured Android 2.3 over the Titan's WP 7.5, if only because of the amount of apps available for it. That said, it's a close call between the two, and neither of them disappoints. |

The Titan is undoubtedly a fantastic phone, but in Know Your Mobile's opinion, the Sensation XE has a slight edge over it in most areas. It is nevertheless very well built, it looks slick, performance is excellent and Windows Phone 7.5 is a superb OS, but the low-res screen and 512GB of RAM came off as a slight disappointment. |

While Know Your Mobile admit that the Titan is a fabulous phone, it's simply not as good as the Galaxy Note. Its 512GB of RAM might prove a bit too little at times, its display is gorgeous but it's not Gorilla Glass like its rival, and although WP7 is a fantastic OS, it has much fewer apps than Android. It does trump the Samsung when it comes to looks and build quality, though. |

The Titan is an impressive smartphone by all accounts, but it just can't match the Galaxy S 2 in a point-for-point comparison. Know Your Mobile reckon that Windows Phone 7 has an edge over Android 2.3 thanks to its streamlined interface and slick performance, but the display, despite being impressive, is not as sharp as the Samsung's. The Titan is also heavier than its rival. |

To date, the HTC Titan is the biggest handset to run WP7, which matches up to its name very well. Its slender body and 8Mp camera could make it a winner. Unfortunately though, WP7's lack of app eco-system could be this phones biggest issue, as it fails to make use of the large screen. Trusted Reviews also thought the styling was unappealing. |

After catching their first glimpse of the HTC Titan, reviewers at CNet say that they'll have to refrain from drawing any conclusions until they see how successful the Windows Phone OS ultimately turns out to be. Otherwise, they liked its roomy 4.7'' display, though they noted that it may be too large for some. Its speedy processor and 8MP camera were also impressive. |

After previewing the HTC Titan, Pocket-Lint came away feeling that this could very well be the long-awaited flagship model for the WP7 OS. In fact, they feel that it might be strong enough to take on offerings from both iPhone and Android. However, though its got some great features, like DLNA, 16GB of storage, and a fast processor, its enormous screen could mean weak battery life. |
