"... Browsing the web on the HTC Legend is excellent and the included browser supports Flash and multitouch. ... The HTC Legend may lack the extra-large screen of the flagship HTC Desire, but the unibody aluminium casing is a superb piece of industrial design. The Legend is an excellent smartphone and a solid improvement over its predecessor."

"The HTC Legend is without doubt the phone any Android fan should upgrade to ... Although it may not have the speedy Snapdragon processor as the HTC Desire, it's fast enough to run multiple applications. What will win most over is the seamless, lightweight and stunning design, along with the latest implementation of HTC's Sense user interface. It works like a dream. ..."

"... If you're someone that doesn't really care massively about apps or gets irritated by a day-long battery life, we couldn't recommend this phone more. And as a standalone device, we get a really strong feeling this is going to be our phone of the year - and if not, 2010 is going to be a really, really good year for smartphones. The HTC Legend is not quite the phone to persuade the masses Android is finally an adequate iPhone replacement - but it's awfully, awfully close."

"spectacular" (9,2 out of 10 points)
"The HTC Legend is our favourite Android phone so far. Android is still clunkier and geekier than the iPhone operating system but, if you can't live without features like Flash support, the Legend is a fantastic alternative to Apple's handset. The Legend is fast, its metal body is gorgeous, and it's plenty of fun to use, thanks to HTC's slick-looking user interface. It may not have the huge screen of the HTC Desire, but we expect it to be less expensive, and its smaller size could make it more practical for pocketing purposes. Overall, the Legend lives up to its name."

"... The keyboard is excellent, the browser is fantastic, it multi-tasks, delivering the flexibility of Android and the deep integration of HTC Sense. Tweakings have made Sense a better interface, but they are mostly minor -they don't change the fundamental experience that Sense users already have. Overall the HTC Legend offers a user experience that is an absolute joy. From set-up to everyday use, it is intuitive, fun and engaging, making the Legend a serious contender for your hard-earned cash."

"The HTC Legend is our favourite Android device to date. It's fast, fully-featured and implements HTC's improved Sense interface beyond our expectations. Perfectly topped off with the stunning design, only the battery life lets it down."

"The good: Unibody design, Sense improvements, feels fantastic in the hand, Android 2.1. The bad: You might always be jealous of the HTC Desire."

"... The HTC Legend is crafted out of a single block of aluminium, like the Nexus One, making it much lighter than the Hero. It also feels better in the hand and is smaller. ... As you'd expect, the Legend operates on Android 2.1, so brings with it all the new treats including basic voice controls and interactive wallpapers. ..."
