With the characteristically warm sound of valve amplifiers offered up in spades, What Hi-Fi? magazine found the Amp One to sound a little too sweet and warm for its own good and with a rather flaccid low end and few connectivity options the Glow Amp One does little to scare the competition. Still if it has to be a valve amp and the styling appeals, the magazine suggests there are no faults too glaring not to warrant further investigation.
