Value for money: "very good" (5 out of 6 stars), "Recommended" PC Advisor are content with the cost of the Gigabyte GA-X58-USB3 motherboard, particularly as it comes with a decent number of features. Amongst other things, its got six DIMM slots, up to 24GB DDR3 RAM and three PCI-Express x16 slots. There are six SATA/300 sockets for storage, six USB2 and two USB 3 ports. This is better than the competing Foxconn motherboard, they say. |

4.5 out of 5 stars
TechRadar found no real problems with the Gigabyte X58-USB3 motherboard. It is a fantastic price, and gives a solid performance. It has SLI and CF support but they thought that, in the future, having no SATA 6Gbps may be a problem. It overclocked well, achieving over 4GHz with the Core i7, but the Asus board still does a little bit better on this. |
