Getac's PS535E is certainly capable of taking more than a few knocks and scrapes and with its dust and water seals should also cope well in extreme environments. PC Pro found battery life to live up to the manufacturer's claims and found the transflective LCD to be easy to read even in direct sunlight.

With its fantastic build quality and unflappable software, the GETAC PS535E is a great example of what a rigged PDA should be. PDA Essentials felt the stylus could have been made a bit larger to fit more easily into gloved hands, but this doesn't detract from the powerful core hardware.
