The controls of the Dell P713w are handled by a large touchscreen, all barring the on button that is. It was manufactured by Lexmark and has two memory card slots and a USB port on the front, but is lacking ADF. Print quality was above-par and speeds weren't bad, but Register Hardware considered the consumable costs to be a drawback. |

IT Reviews found the Dell P713w very likeable, with its quick printing speeds and decent quality printing. Duplex printing and wireless connectivity are also standard features. The printer unit itself is available for a reasonably low price, but the overall price is pushed up by quite expensive inks, meaning this printer is not recommended if you need to keep running costs low. |

With a lovely touchscreen interface that makes it easy to set up and use, wireless connectivity, and a low price, CNET found lots to like about Dell's multifunction colour inkjet P713w. Performance was impressive too, with good quality prints being produced at excellent speeds, so they were sad to find black and white printing costs that are high enough to be a turn off for many. |

The touch-panel on the Dell P713w is nice and responsive and the print speeds are good, so Computer Act!ve declare it to be a decent little inkjet printer and scanner device. They did bemoan the lack of a separate photo tray, but their main gripe was the excessively high costs for ink, making the running costs too steep, and detracting from the low initial purchase price. |

Value for money: 5 out of 10 points Print quality is better than average, speeds are competitive, and although it lacks the in-built ADF of the very similar Lexmark model, TrustedReviews point out that Dell's P713w is significantly cheaper. However, although the unit itself might look like a bargain, at almost 20p for a colour print, consumable costs could be a real turn off for many. |

Dell P713w CNET.co.uk 8/2011 - Not only does the Dell P713w look quite like Lexmark's Interact S605, but it shares the same technology too. The difference is, the P713w has got a paper feeder at the bottom and costs around £40 more.
Dell P713w TrustedReviews 7/2011 - Dell's P713w bares more than a passing resemblance to Lexmark's Prestige Pro805, but it doesn't have the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), and it's a fair chunk cheaper.
