While the Exilim Pro EX-F1 was a rather unremarkable stills camera on paper, featuring only 6MP, its 12x zoom lens and impressively versatile movie mode more than make up for this for those users who will take full advantage of its high-speed or high definition capabilities.

"Very good" (4 out of 5 Stars) Value for money: 3 out of 5 stars
While the EX-F1 is certainly unique in offering such fast frame rates, Personal Computer World didn't find its image quality to justify the high price. RAW writing and HD video, as well as the long 12x zoom range are welcome features, but until noise issues have been sorted out the camera is more of a proof-of-concept than an overwhelming success.

Just as fast as an F1 racing car the Casio EX-F1 is speed daemon in the DSLR world. Boasting a track time of 1200 pictures a second makes it the worlds fastest consumer camera. What Digital Camera thought the F1 was tremendous fun and surpasses anything else for speed. It will allow users to take photos that wouldn't be possible on another camera. The F1 is great for photographers set on using the speed-stopping capabilities on a regular basis but for those of you whole only really use it once in a while then it is worth considering a cheaper DSLR.
