Issue 9/2008 10 products on test |
Value for money: 3 out of 6 stars
Closely related to the HF10, this camcorder shares its HD resolution, high-quality components, HDMI output and hot shoe for adding accessories. Where they differ is storage, with the HF100 forgoing internal storage for external flash cards - which PC Pro warns can get expensive.

Issue 11/2008 Single test |
Mac User magazine was sceptical about the HF100, in particular to weather or not it could out class the HG10. They found that the HF100 had some great features such its high-capacity SD recording and full connectivity. All and all a superb camcorder and hopefully, a good sign of what's to come next from Canon

CNet.co.uk give the HF100 two thumbs up for video quality, comfortable design and its quick focus speed. It really is a tiny dynamo and performs well delivering excellent HD video quality every time.
