BenQ's Q1060 is a seriously mixed bag, since on one hand its strong rainbow effect and slightly washed out black levels mean it's not suitable for committed home cinema lovers, but on the other, it punches above its weight compared to other rivals in its price range. Trusted Reviews say you should spend more if you're picky about quality, but for more casual users it's a good choice. |

3 out of 5 stars
For the price, the W1060 does a good job and produces decent pictures which show almost no DLP rainbow effect. However, TechRadar also pointed out that it's far from being a flawless performer, and that its contrast levels are merely acceptable. Together with its poor definition and detail, this makes it an unimpressive offering compared to the competition. |

"Budget Buy" Expert Reviews were really impressed with the BenQ W1060 projector and felt that it will meet your requirements if you want a mid-range model. It's easy to set up, is a competitive price and the white and silver chassis looks good without being too big. Picture quality is decent but the two 10w speakers are a let down, a dedicated speaker system is needed as an accompaniment. |

BenQ W1060 TrustedReviews 10/2012 - You can't expect top-notch performance from a £700 projector, but how well does it measure up to its rivals in this price range?
BenQ W1060 PC Plus 7/2012 - Good looks and a promising spec sheet make the W1060 a tempting proposition, but just how good is it in real-life usage?
