"Ultimate" Expert Reviews were certainly impressed by the number of features on board the AVM Fritz!Box WLAN 7390. They found set-up super easy and the web interface was simple and well laid out. You'll soon be making a saving if you use VoIP, but otherwise, they think its high price tag might not be justified. They recommend buying the optional USB stick to improve speeds too. |

"very good" (5 out of 6 stars)
Value for money: "very good" (5 out of 6 stars), "Recommended" PC Pro says that while the Fritz!Box 7390 let them down a bit with its pokey raw wireless performance, its outstanding quality and features more than compensate, especially if one wants a stable, speedy wireless network. They found it incredibly easy to set up, and say that it's got the most well-organised and straightforward management systems they've seen on such a device. |

"excellent" (8.5 out of 10 Points)
The construction of the Fritz!Box Fon WLAN 7390 is a bit lightweight and the lack of 3G failover, user-level file sharing and capabilities in advanced management are all negatives for this device. However, ZDNet reckon it has excellent VoIP abilities and is easy to set-up and use. They also liked the inclusion of TAPI and 3G support as well as its media and NAS streaming capabilities. It can be used on a desktop or be wall mounted. |

7 out of 10 points
The setup and configuration of the Fritz!Box Fon WLAN 7390 is incredibly simple, it comes with good documentation and advanced telephony features. The plastic build feels a bit cheap though and it has a quirky appearance. It does not include 3G failover or failback and users of cable will have to lose a LAN port. The Inquirer considered it a decent option for people who need advanced telephony features in the home, but felt those who didn't would find it too pricey. |
