With its superb engine, impressively precise handling, excellent setup and high-tech electronics, the Tuono V4 R APRC is quite a winner, Fast Bikes said. It's a bit smoother than many rivals and reviewers were disappointed with the lack of grunt from the V4, but that aside, there was little to complain about here. A superb choice for the track.

On the track, the Aprilia Tuono V4 R out-does the Ducati and the KTM in terms of suspension and electronics, and even on the road, Fast Bikes say it's a tough act to follow. The RSV4-like handling is outstanding, and they were pleased to see that it doesn't come with an RSV4 price tag, but the throttle isn't the most intuitive, and it's not the best looking of the group.

The Aprilia Tuono V4 R may not be a particularly easy bike to do stunts on, but it is incredibly fast and is built with an excellent chassis, motor and electronics. Fast Bikes were impressed by the price too, considering it costs a few grand less than the top-class Ducati Streetfighter S. They deemed this bike to be highly gratifying, nicely assured and extremely adept.
