AKG K 840 KL Review

The K840 KL headphones from AKG provide a high quality audio experience, in part thanks to the Kleer wireless technology. However you have to carry a transmitter to be able to stream music to the headphones, though it's small and plugs in with a standard audio jack. An expensive option but they perform well, sound great and can also be used as standard wireless headphones.

Bass and fundamental tone reproduction quality isn’t really the strength of the AKG model, but otherwise the sound is quite linear, at best heavy on the mids, and well weighted. There is very little difference between cable and wireless connection; the music is a touch fresher and more sturdy when heard via the cable. ...”
