8 out of 10 points
Value for money: 8 out of 10 points The price tag of AKG's K550s seemed very reasonable to Trusted Reviews for what they offer: a solid and very comfortable build, a remarkably open sound and wide stage and a flat character that will delight some listeners and be a deal breaker for those more used to having more bass punch. The 3m long cable is not suitable for portable use, but that aside, they're a great buy. |

"... these headphones are designed for at-home use. They are lightweight and comfy though ... a spacious, speaker-like delivery that excels in terms of fine detail, dynamics and punch." |

Opinions (63) for AKG K 550
AKG K550 TrustedReviews 2/2013 - Over the last years, the headphone market has exploded, with everybody and their mother suddenly developing a fondness for decent sound quality and a refusal to settle for the cheap junk that usually comes bundled with mp3 players and phones. Like many manufacturers, AKG has realized this and is trying to get its name out there to the masses.
