Expert Reviews found the Acer Aspire TimelineX 5820T reasonably portable, despite carrying a decent-sized screen. They were pleased with the style as well as the performance, but reckon that there are more portable laptops with similar power available, and with smaller screens, so choosing this one will come down to priorities. In their view there are stronger TimelineX models. |

Value for money: "excellent" (6 out of 6 stars), "A List", "Recommended" The battery can last all day and it has a pretty good performance, the build quality of the Aspire TimelineX 5820T was also superb making is the ideal all-round laptop. PC Advisor have great difficulty finding fault with this machine, especially when you also consider the price tag of just £552. It is powerful enough to handle most tasks except maybe very specialist ones. |

Acer Aspire TimelineX 5820T PC Pro 11/2010 - We've seen plenty of nine-hour ultraportables and a lot of 15.6in powerhouses, but few laptops can claim to come close to successfully combining the two.
