Acer's Aspire One proves itself a worthy alternative to the Eee PC, matching or bettering it in areas including design, screen, graphics and performance. The low capacity battery can be upgraded while remaining at the same price level as the Eee. Forgiving a lack of support for 802.11n, and other minor issues, PC Pro gives the Aspire One a big stamp of approval.

"Buy It!"
One of the only areas where the Aspire One doesn't stand up to the competition is its mediocre battery life, but with a larger battery on the way, this shouldn't cause too many problems. Computer Act!ve found it to perform well and feature a much more substantial keyboard than its rivals. All in all, a great little system.
