Many cheap mobile cases are made of synthetic fibers and protect fairly well against scratching of the screen. Models made of leather last longer, however. Effective protection against dust provide is only achieveable with mobile phone cases with zippers, where as buttoned clasps provide for faster access. Special models also allow for the use of a clamshell mobile phone (flip-phone) whilst in its protective case.
