"Akasa Nero S CPU Cooler Review"

"With the LGA1366 socket getting a couple of excellent CPUs recently in the form the Intel Core i7-930 and Core i7-980X Extreme Edition there’s never been a bigger demand for a high-performance, overclock-friendly aftermarket CPU cooler. There have certainly been a number of quality offerings recently in the form the reigning performance champ, the Titan Fenrir, or the more subtle and quiet Gelid Tranquillo." "CPU coolers need to be efficient, cheap and easy to install, and it’s the latter of this trilogy of virtues that seems to cause a lot of difficulty for many companies. Some coolers ship with an accessories box that you could barely tell apart from a Meccano set. While the classic toy is undeniably a great creation in its own right, it’s the last thing you want to fiddle with when the promise of bigger overclocks is on the horizon. It’s almost as if there’s a secret competition between manufacturers to determine which one can make the most ludicrously complicated and annoying mounting system." Review details: Single Test. One CPU cooler was reviewed and rated on features, performance, build quality, ease of use and value.    Test results
"Akasa X4 Cooler Review"

"The Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro was one of the best budget CPU coolers ever made. You could bag one for around £15 and it would do a damned fine job of taming the temperatures of overclocked Core 2 processors. It was no replacement for a phase-change cooler, but its performance-to-price ratio was formidable. It's no surprise then that many manufacturers since made lookalikes. Sadly though, few of them were performalikes, a fact which ensured that the Freezer 7 remained seated atop its throne as King of Bargainville." Review details: Single Test.
