"Dell U2711 27inch Widescreen Monitor Review"
1 Monitor (approx. £890)
Bit Tech
Published on 3/2010
On test: Dell Ultrasharp U2711 WQHD
"We were massively impressed by the HP LP2475w and its H-IPS panel. Indeed Harry went straight out and bought one, which should no doubt improve his Battlefield: Bad Company 2 prowess. The HP might have been pricey compared to similarly sized TN-based panels, but the image quality, particularly for games and photo editing, was sublime." Review details: Single Test. One widescreen monitor was reviewed and rated on features, image quality and value.    Test results
"Dell UltraSharp U2711"
1 Monitor (approx. £890)

Published on 3/2010
On test: Dell Ultrasharp U2711 WQHD
"Dell's UltraSharp U2711 is one of the best performing monitors we've seen; but at £901 (ex. VAT), its price will be prohibitive to some buyers. However, the U2711 earns its high price with incredible performance, a plethora of connection options and the monitor's piece de resistance, its 2,560-by-1,440-pixel resolution. Dell also fixes the static dithering issue that plagued the U2410's release. This is the monitor to buy if you have the money. Even if you don't have the budget, you should probably start pinching pennies because it's that good." Review details: Single Test    Test results

"Dell's 24in models have always been popular in the PC Pro office, and while the S2409W may not be one of the manufacturer's all-singing, all-dancing models, it does offer a high-quality panel at a reasonable price."
